What's Up With Movie Previews???

March 16th 2008 00:06
Hello! I've been thinking about a couple of things today and I thought that I should share them with you. The first thing that I was thinking about was movie previews. As you may have noticed, most movie previews have the funniest or best part of the movie shown to get you interested so that you will think that it looks cool so that you will go see it. Oftentimes these previews can be very misconceiving because it may show funny parts of the movie in the preview but then the movie isn't funny and it is really dumb. So I was just thinking and I thought maybe the producers and filmers of movies should make their movie previews more interesting by making new scenes that don't occur in the movie, but that would still fit in the movie if they had really wanted to, but instead of putting it in the movie they could just put it as a preview. I think that it would make a movie a lot more interesting if that happened, because that way none of the movie would be ruined before you go see it.

I understand where you're coming from but not where you're going to. I don't think you'll change the movie buffs, they know their business.

They do know their business, but I think that very soon they are going to have to change their ways to capture the crowds attention once again, because they lost my attention long ago. Actually yes Pixar has done this and that is what sparked the idea in my head. I really liked what they were doing and it made me want to go and see those movies even more. The one that I recently noticed was the movie preview of Cars. Check it out, maybe you'll understand more of what I mean. If movie producers figure out that they can get more people to go and see their movies then they will make the changes that have to be made.
