Katie Rees, the ex-Miss Nevada 2007, responds to the x-rated underage photos that got her fired.

"I am so sorry this happened," Katie said at a Dec 23rd news conference in Clearwater, "So many of us don't realize how our actions, even one night of poor judgment, can affect the rest of our lives."
The former Miss Nevada's attorney appealed to Trump and the Miss Universe organization to give Rees the same second chance they offered Tara Connor. Connor, the current Miss USA, was allowed to keep her crown after suffering from her own scandal recently.
But so far this appeal has fallen on deaf ears. Runner-up, Helen Salas, will take over the Miss Nevada 2007 and compete in the upcoming Miss USA.

It seems fair that if you offer one a second chance, then the other should get one too.
Helen is quite striking, isn't she? She prob hopes Katie doesn't get a second chance, I bet!
