Is the world coming to an end?

What do you think, future tellers? Is the world coming to an end? I know a lot of people are into religion and I am one of those people, but really...Is the world ending? Many studies have made about the truth of the bible and of other artifacts and have been shown that they are true. Does that mean that since most of the predictions and signs of The Second Coming are to pass that the world really is going to end, and soon? Just a little something to think about...

Nuck, I think you are living in a fantasy land.

The Bible is not true.

There is no God.

The world is not ending.

Sorry to sound so blunt, but really, i think it is time the human race just accepted the facts.

katyzzz I was kind of referring to Nuck's insinuation that the world was ending in the Biblical sense as outlined in the Book Of Revelation.

Global Warming can be counteracted when all humans accept it is really happening and act accordingly. To suggest that the world is coming to an end is to put forward the idea that the issue is out of our hands, that it is our pre-ordained fate.

Obviously I think that is erroneous.

In that you are completely wrong! There is a God! He is your father, how can you say that he does not exist??! The Second Coming of Christ is going to be soon. I know all of these things for a fact. When Christ comes back to the earth, the world will end, at least this part of the world. The world will end.

Oh Nuck religion had me fooled for the first 20 years of my life. Have you ever read the Bible? And I don't mean just the good bits. It is nothing but a silly book of ancient desert prejudices.

I know this offends you but I think the time has come for humans to stop handling religion with kid gloves. religion breeds misery and hatred. It does not tolerate my opinion so why must I bend to its will and not offend?

There is no God Nuck. And my father died four years ago.

I'm sorry that you have to suffer your whole life, because you have chosen to give up the truths and the goodness of life. My grandma died two months ago. I know how it feels, but at least I don't have to be sad because I know that really she is sitting up in Heaven preaching the gospel and she is with her son and her mother and father having the best time ever. There is a God. Have you ever read The Book of Mormon?! These books are true, I promise and I could never say anything different. God loves each and every one of us and he gave us bodies because he loved us and he sent his son to die for us because he loves us so much.

Well I am sorry you feel that way Nuck. I really am. It is you who is suffering because you will never truly know who are without religion telling you what to do and what to think.

I do suggest you go to google and read about Joseph Smith though. In a nutshell Smith read about the 'prophet' Mohammed' and decided he was going to be the American version.

No divine revelation. No divine intervention. Just an incredibly selfish and insecure man who wanted immortality. That people can fall for Smith's lie astonishes me. At least with Moses and Jesus and Mohammed there is an element of mystery because they lived so long ago and records are not great.

Smith on the other hand we know a lot about. And what we know ain't pretty.

You seem like a sweet kid. I'm sorry religion has poisoned your mind.
