Ice Magic in Lake Louise
February 6th 2007 01:04
Lake Louise, nestled deep within the Rocky Mountains, celebrates the frozen majesty of its locale with an annual Ice Sculpture contest.
Dedicated artists turn gigantic blocks of ice into intricate sculptures at this family-friendly Winter event.
Bring your ice skates along to take a spin on picturesque Lake Louise itself.
A toasty cup of hot chocolate huddled around the fire really hits the spot after your adventure in this frozen paradise.
Be warned though, Lake Louise is particularly cold, so be sure to don plenty of layers, a warm woolen hat, gloves and waterproof boots if you visit this Icy spectacular!
Enjoy these photos I took at this year's Lake Louise festivities.
