Ex-Miss Nevada to be Crowned 'Miss JET Las Vegas'

Hail to the Bar Queen! Naughty Katie Rees who recently lost her Miss Nevada title due to racy photos, will be replacing it with a new 'crown'.

The Mirage Hotel & Casino will crown Rees as 'Miss Jet Las Vegas' of their nightclub, JET.

A NIGHTCLUB, people. She will become queen of a Vegas bar complete with a hokey pseudo-ceremony with Rees 'winning' the oh so prestigious 'title'.

Does the girl know whether to laugh or cry at the moment? I don't know whether to laugh or cry for her at the moment.

The JET nightclub boasts three dance floors, multiple levels, plays Hip Hop, House and Rock music where "the sound is state-of-the-art, the drinks are high-octane and the energy is nonstop."

Katie had this to say about becoming Miss Jet Las Vegas:

"I'm really excited about the party at JET. I haven't been able to go out and spend time with my friends at all since the ordeal. It will be a relief from all the stress."

Girl, partying with your friends is what got you into all this mess in the first place! You might want to try a quiet night at home seriously mapping out your life goals.

Is there a vocational school out there for you? Or a manager training course at the local Safeway you could look into? God love you, Katie, but becoming a Vegas Strip Bar Queen is not a glamorous step on the road to reclaiming your dignity and career.

Her majesty will be crowned on January 29, 2007 at JET.

So she won a beauty pageant by showing off her hot body... and then lost her crown due to "racy pictures." I wonder if she knows this is one of the most insightful life lessons she'll ever get?

I can't blame the girl for capitalizing on her young body while it's still taut and perky, but yeah, do plan for later decades when the sagging sets in and you have to rely on your wits.
